La entrevista a Gala del Sol gira en torno a su trayectoria, las repercusiones adversas de la pandemia del COVID que llevaron, sin embargo, al proyecto de su primer largometraje Llueve sobre Babel y las circunstancias del rodaje en su ciudad natal Cali. La joven directora colombiana subraya, en este contexto, la importancia de los mismos acto­res para la preparación y realización de este film dantesco, así como para crear el elenco de personajes estrafalarios y extravagantes que pueblan el (sub)mundo de su ópera prima.

The interview with Gala del Sol focuses on her career, the adverse impact of the COVID pandemic that nevertheless led to the project for her first feature film, Llueve sobre Babel, and the circumstances surrounding the filming in her hometown of Cali. In this context, the young Colombian director emphasises the importance of the actors in the preparation and production of this Dantesque film, as well as in creating the cast of quirky and extravagant characters that populate the (sub)world of her debut feature.
