Abstract

Lanzarote has become a sought-after location for national, European and international film productions. The island has strikingly different volcanic, desert, agricultural, coastal and urban landscapes, as well as the architecture of César Manrique. The Lanzarote Film Commission supports filmmakers and establishes contacts between the local film industry and film producers. Furthermore, the Lanzarote Film Commission participates in the internal networks of Lanzarote and with film commissions at regional, national and international level in order to be able to serve filmmakers not only with spectacular scenery, but also with professional services in the media sector.
