Abstract

Film in Granada was founded in 2020 with the aim of promoting the film and audiovisual industry in the province of Granada with its enormous wealth of urban devel­opment, heritage and natural landscapes. Beyond supporting film shoots, for example with a location database, Film in Granada is also understood as part of the audiovisual culture that aims to promote local professionals and put them in contact with external producers. The extent to which Granada has become a centre of the current audiovisual industry is demonstrated by feature films such as La sociedad de la nieve, Cerrar los ojos and Se­gundo premio, and series such as La casa del dragón, La unidad or Los Farad.
